6/7 Roadmap Updates

What's new and what's coming next for InboxHype

Hello everyone! Christian here from InboxHype 👋 I’ve got some big updates to share with you all today, so let’s just jump right in, shall we?

🚢 What we’ve shipped

Community Layout Redesign – Originally, when you’d join a community on the platform, you get taken to a homepage with a feed of all newsletter posts and member discussions. This can be a little overwhelming for new members, as they aren’t super sure where to begin, or what areas to explore first.

With the new design, when you enter into a community, you’ll land on a homepage that highlights how you can start participating and where to find what you might be looking for.

Group Discussions – Being able to interact further and go beyond the inbox with your subscribers is the whole reason InboxHype exists. To further enhance this experience, we’ve just shipped “Groups”. Think of them like channels in Slack where you can house conversations with specific people on a specific topic.

Conversation threads have also been completely overhauled with this release. You can now add gifs, emoji reactions, sharing videos, links, and other files, as well as open up a threaded conversation on a message. This is definitely expected and likely something you’re all familiar with, but I’m glad to say InboxHype finally provides this functionality!

Dedicated Newsletter Archive Feed – By default previously, newsletters were automatically posted into the primary feed of the community. We felt it’s important to keep newsletters in their own dedicated space so members can easily find what they are looking for from your archives. Newsletters are still automatically posted as you send them out, and members can now find them under the “Newsletters” tab in the navigation menu.
